A native of Washington, D.C., Chris moved to Los Angeles in pursuit of a career in entertainment, equipped only with his degree from Howard University at the time.
Since being in Hollywood, he has worked hard to be a professional in the industry, becoming a member of the SAG-AFTRA & AEA actors' unions. In addition to 'cutting his teeth' in acting by doing theatre, he has studied with Baron Brown Studio, Antaeus Theatre Company, has been a student abroad at Drama Studio London, and was one of a select few chosen to participate in the inaugural masterclass of world renowned acting coach of Larry Moss in London. He has also appeared in numerous national commercials (look for him in an upcoming AT&T commercial), and is a graduate of Upright Citizen's Brigade improv program in Los Angeles.
Chris is also a writer, producer, and director and has had his short films play in several festivals across the country. His latest short 'The Reckoning', was recognized for 'Best Actor' and "Judge's Choice' in the Kansas City Black Film Festival of 2020, and is an official selection at film festivals twenty five times over. Having a strong philosophy of contribution, Chris just completed co-writing his first pilot, and is working on his first feature length script - projects he hopes will lead to being picked up.
With no plans of slowing down, Chris has set his sights on broadening his theatrical resume, expanding into voicework, and becoming a proven and highly regarded talent in the industry. He can be seen most recently working with Issa Rae in Season 4, episode 5 of Insecure, and has worked with Eddie Murphy and Jim Carrey as well.
In his spare time, Chris practices in the style of Aikikai aikido.
